D.O.A (Death on Arrival) Policy: Shipping of any live animals can be stressful, fish included. It is common for your fish to be pale in colour but will quickly regain his/her colour, vibrance and personality with some tender loving care. We will do our utmost best to ship fish with care and using express postage services. D.O.A policy will not be covered if there are any delays on the buyers behalf, for example if you are not at home and the fish gets sent to a depot, or if left unattended without receipt.
Please understand when purchasing online for fish to be shipped that you understand fish death and sickness can occur due to the stressful nature of shipping. So getting your fish from our showroom to your home in a timely manner is of utmost importance.
Please make sure when you place live fish orders that you or someone is available to receive the delivery in person. After inspecting the fish, start acclimation as soon as possible.
If, someone was at home to accept delivery of fish and in the unfortunate circumstance that your fish arrives dead, please take a video clearly showing the dead fish inside the unopened shipping bag on the same day of arrival. So please check carefully before opening the fish bag as opening will void D.O.A policy. You will receive D.O.A in the form of free replacement of fish of same value/credit or refund for the price of the fish, shipping charges is NOT covered by our D.O.A policy.
To be covered by D.O.A policy:
1) Take a clear video of dead fish in the UNOPENED fish bag on the SAME day of arrival.

Live fish orders cannot be sent to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
Dry goods are sent via Australia Post - Standard
Live fish is sent via Australia Post - Express
7 day fish guarantee does not apply to purchases of fish online.
